Hello!  My name is Jenna Leigh; I am what happens when opposites attract: the product of a level-headed, 1950s-idolizing chemist and a free-spirited, earth-loving mama.  I'm an eighties baby currently living in the greater NYC area and working as a public school teacher/freelance blogger while attempting to navigate my way through the wonderful, painful, beautiful, crushing journey that is life.  I met the love of my life last summer and spend most of my time laughing, wondering, learning, traveling, and dreaming. I'm happy to be sharing that experience with you :)

I started this blog on March 31st, 2009, the first birthday that my beautiful mother was deprived of celebrating, with the purpose of celebrating for her (you can check out the first post here).  It is a place for me to share my adventures, accomplishments, travels, reflections, joys, and sorrows... my little space where I can write about my journey and bring you along - thanks for coming.
